How We Do It
How we do it.
We slice our Certified Angus Beef paper thin and place it on the grill.
We chop the meat very small to absorb our special blend of spices.
We add our special blend of spices
We add your choice of onions, and peppers.
We add your choice of cheese (Whiz, American or Provolone)
Whiz is strongly recommended!
We add pizza sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, or mayo if requested when you order.
(Not after you’ve eaten half the sandwich.)
We flip it into an Amoroso roll.
What we don’t do.
We don’t add Swiss cheddar or any other type of cheese other than the big 3.
We don’t add barbecue, teriyaki or any other sauce except pizza sauce
We don’t serve the meat un-chopped. Let me say that again. We don’t serve the meat un-chopped
We don’t put the roll in the oven
We don’t put your cheese on top. I need to say this again too. We don’t put the cheese on top
We do it our way!
Why?
It’s the best way. It’s the Philly way.
If you want a grinder go to NY.
If you want barbecue, buy a pig.
If you want the best Philly cheese steak you will ever have….Well you know what to do.
For those of you who are intent on recreating the wheel we do have catsup, mustard, mayo and hot sauce on our condiment bar.
